Что делать, когда Death Stranding выдает ошибку 50005?

Ну с этим, что называется, под настроение. Можно ничего не делать, а просто перезайти в игру и играть дальше, прогресс-то все равно сохраняется.

Edit: I had this problem since started free roaming in chapter 1 all the way till first chapter 3

I fixed my problem by changing DNS primary and secondary on PS4 console not from router (I got my own primary and secondary DNS setting on router, I think this is the culprit)

Here’s the step:

Select [Settings] > [Network Settings]

Select [Set Up Internet Connection]

Select [Use Wi-Fi] or [Use a Lan Cable]

Select [Custom]

Select [Automatic]

Select [Do Not Specify]

Select [Manual]

Then you will see primary DNS and secondary DNS .You could try 8.8.8.8 for the primary, and 8.8.4.4 for the secondary.
