Чу Сан У – студент, обучающийся на факультете компьютерных технологий. Он – олицетворение непоколебимого и строго соблюдающего правила человека. Для получения зачёта по одному из предметов Сан У пришлось работать над групповым проектом с настоящими бездельниками, которые ни капли не помогали ему с подготовкой к заданию. В итоге он убрал имена всех лентяев из финальной презентации и сообщил обо всём профессору. Но Сан У представить себе не мог, с какими последствиями ему придётся после этого столкнуться…
Старшекурсник Чан Чжэ Ён – настоящая звезда факультета дизайна. Он талантлив, красив и родом из влиятельной семьи. Чжэ Ён собирался поехать обучаться заграницу после выпуска, но, получив неуд из-за поступка Сан У, он не смог закончить универ и ему пришлось остаться в нём ещё на один год.Сначала Чжэ Ён хотел объяснить Сан У причину своего отсутствия во время подготовки проекта и попросить его помочь уговорить профессора исправить оценку. Но, пообщавшись пару минут с упрямым и непоколебимым Сан У, который совершенно не жалел о случившемся, Чжэ Ён понял, что мирным путём недопонимание между ними не решить. Тогда Чжэ Ён начал преследовать Сан У и докучать ему всевозможными способами, внося в тихую и размеренную жизнь бедолаги настоящий хаос. Итак, Чжэ Ён скинув проект на Сан У, получил удар в спину. В общем то сам виноват и получил по заслугам. На ошибках учатся! Но ума хватает только на то, что в отместку испортить жизнь пареньку. Но близкое знакомство все меняет. Он наконец то замечает Сан У, и что самое интересное тот начинает ему нравиться

Игра второстепенных персонажей мне понравилась на порядок больше. Между главными героями чувствовалась зажатость. Ну а как по другому. Жанр то соответственный. Хотя, когда они смотрели друг другу в глаза, то химия все же проскальзывала

Оригинальный саундтрек очень хорош. Милый и романтичный. В общем, идеально подходит для сюжета.

Сюжет прыгает с места в карьер. Дизайнер «бьет» по больному нашего холодного программиста. Он вносит в его программу сбои. Прям как вирус. И под подобным воздействием Сан У меняется. Он сам не заметил как так получилось, что Чжэ Ён стал для него важен.

Дорамка мне показалась слабенькой, ну серьезно. Возможно это все из-за небольшого хронометража серий. Ну фанфик, он и есть фанфик. Хотя герои мне понравились, особенно красавчик Чжэ Ён, прям сердце бьется сильнее от одного его взгляда

Best BL adaptation kdrama
Man I’m so glad this kdrama was just as great as the manhwa because everything in it was just right! Ok there might be some differences such as Sangwoo wearing less of his hat but it didn’t matter like everything was just perfect. I personally don’t think it needs a season 2, it had everything you need to enjoy a series, even the sexual tension.
Park Seo Ham, Song Ji Oh, Kim Noh Jin and Park Jae Chan were just stunning in this series! Also Park Seo Ham is off to military enlistment today so best of luck to him like I hope to himself and everyone on other projects in the future! Honestly again I can’t express my love for this kdrama, it’s outstanding!

Best BL ever
It just ended and I have already rewatched it a dozen of times. It is obvious the production team has put in a lot of effort behind the scene, where BL normally has less budget in comparison to its cousin kdrama. Within eight episodes, they portrayed a lively and complete story with interesting characters. Mix time, effort and talented actors, this is really a top tier drama. Both main actors are idol turned actor, but their acting is certainly worth looking forward to. They have one of the strongest chemistry and on screen, their couple vibe is unparalleled. All in all, this is a must watch on lazy Sunday afternoon. Might not be as captivating as penthouse, but it’s a relaxing, funny and romantic drama.

Good storyline and chemistry
Honestly i’ve been expecting higher since the story was adapted from a bl manhwa. And wow , cant say more, im impressed with the storyline. They have done a bit improvisation but im not disappointed at all i’d say. They really do immerse in their own roles despite the fact both actors are actually an Idol but that gives them no exceptions to do well in the series. Please give semantic error a watch.

Semantic Error is best
One of the best remarkable adaption from manhwa… Good production with charismatic actors and their presentable acting make this series more magnificent…
I won’t add any single spoiler here..
If you read the manhwa then it’s absolute necessary to watch this series… This series worth every of your single time and you won’t feel bore for 1 second..
I wish South Korea will make this type of remarkable series in future also and with more time and more episodes… Because we viewers becoming more hungry for this type of series….

Way better than I thought
I gave the first two episodes lower scores because I couldn’t really feel the plot or the characters that well. Upon doing a rewatching of those two episodes and then finally continuing on, I’ve come to understand it better and grew to enjoy the character development of Sangwoo specifically. I really enjoy this series and would rewatching this in a heartbeat.

Oh god i love this couple so much. Their hight difference hits different feel. Such a cute couple. Story line is interesting and cast is more interesting. You must should watch this drama.

Semantic Error will put an error in your mind: CAN’T GET ENOUGH.
The good:
1. No gross sexualization of queer relationships
2. It doesn’t give Comphet
3. Enemies to lovers done right!
4. hot & cold interactions between the MLs, nothing stale
5. The MLs breath life into the characters
6. Jang Jae Young will give you butterflies
7. Chu Sang Woo is the perfect smart, introverted MC
8. Struggling with sexuality but no homophobia
9. Episodes are short and fast paced, no time to get bored
10. Subtle comedy, romance, drama: nothing over the top
The bad:
1. The first kiss not consensual
Overall:
Some of these points may seem like the bare minimum but how often do you see LGBTQ+ stories done right? This was a refreshing watch and I didn’t expect it to be this good.
Whoever told me that BL is just fetishization of gay men was criminal for keeping me away from this genre. This is my first BL and it was so addicting that I read the entire manhwa released so far after only watching 3 episodes of the show. HIGHLY recommend.

A great live action adaption
This story has a classic trope for romance — opposites attract, enemies to lovers, oil and water do not mix except…for when they do! So, it’s not «new» in that way.
However, what I thought Semantic Error handled in a novel way was exploring differences in personality and «processing of information» the between the two main characters creatively.
I’ve seen all eight episodes now and think this live adaptation did a great job to make an 8-episode run out of a plot that could have run much longer, but could have been messily bogged down by being too superficial about certain topics…really, the way that you can expect a cartoon to be about real life (a genre-typical problem).
The adjustments done to the plot, dialogue, and characters, while jarring to me at first, not only make the narrative arc one that can be told in eight 20ish minutes episodes but improve the story to be a more logical one, where characters are more sympathetic and endearing as well, but the essence of the story was not lost.
The production (cinematography! The visual accents! I could go on) is so great for this type of project, and the casting and the acting was on point.
Novel and manhwa readers can feel free to disagree (I have not read the novel and only part of the manhwa), but this live adaptation was very enjoyable and did a great job with the source materials that I am aware of by this point.

It is one of the best dramas out there.
Everything about this show is good. You wont feel bored at all infact you want it to have some more episodes.
Storyline is good. Acting of cast is natural and their chemistry is sensual and subtle like everyother good couple.
All in all a good watch.

From good cinematography to good acting, this series has significantly raised the standard of a BL Drama. So much so, that you’d be disappointed if you used this amazing drama as a basis for comparison.

Handsome couple
Oppa was originally famous,coupled with two starring atmospheres, the plot is very novel.very attractive, the final ending is also very romantic.love is love.blue and red always be the couple colour.

Better than I expected.
I can’t stop smile while watching this series. The main actors have strong chemistry. When a simple and interesting story meets with Korean -style -drama flow, I would like to bet that you may think why the series so short. Keep hoping this kind of creatures.

Semantic Error hit the right spots at the right time.
Often times with manhwa/comics/webtoons that are adapted to live action series or dramas, a lot of the story substance and the pacing can feel just exhaustingly omitted/rushed. However, Semantic Error as a series, through Watcha KR’s amazing production, felt completely right and provided justice to the literature that came before it. The story’s pacing was not at all rushed, disconnected and confusing, like other shows I have watched of the same case.
The actors did not look like rookies at all, they acted the character’s words, emotions and actions like they embodied these characters as they are. Sometimes, with these BL adaptations, one can really feel just how uncomfortable the actors are playing the characters, such that it repeals the viewers to watching more. Jae-chan and Seo-ham’s chemistry really is the cherry on top to an amazing drama. Every episode of their interactions gave so much justice to the same feelings I had from when I read the BL as a literary piece.
The production quality, wardrobe, settings and props are all unimaginably well-thought of. It did not looked cheap and repulsive due to all the cuts in the production and quality. I really liked the efforts of everyone involved to make such an amazing show. It is a bummer that they only have 8 episodes but I did not expect anything less because; first, the story was told beautifully in its 8 episodes, second, considering how small of a platform Watcha KR is as of now, I’d understand their budget and resource constraints for now.
With such an amazing response from domestic and international viewers, I hope they consider a second season for this show, continuing on the story since it’s still an ongoing webtoon. Kudos Watcha KR!

As a BL fan semantic error is 10000/10 series, this series is the highest rated BL drama in south korea and top overall korean drama in south korea, this is highly recommended drama. I can’t wait for seoham to discharge! Can’t wait for season 2💙❤

First BL
My first BL, I honestly loved it. The cast firstly is beautiful, I’m honestly shocked at the kiss scenes (they showed emotion and looked real) & how both main leads are actually Kpop singers. I love that nothing seemed forced; but natural and sweet. Both actors were so comfortable with one another, this definitely showed and it made the series so much better. I liked how neither characters were initially queer/ gay, they kind of found their true selves through each other. They’re allowed to slowly fall in love in a safe environment without any restrictions or negative opinions from others.

BEST KOREAN BL I HAVE WATCHED SO FAR
The plot, the twist, characters are just near in perfect. The actors were also great and their good looking face is just a bonus. Actually, I have watched many BL dramas, like Thai, Chinese and Korean and this will probably one of the best among them. It is much better if there were a little more episodes and duration.

Best BL drama ever
This was visually really great, interesting. The main characters are another dude’s(Jang) clothes, style, drawings are very good. Too bad there were eight episodes. I would have looked at even more. The lengths of the episodes are so short. I watched all the episodes in one sitting.

Sweet and charning
In terms of BL story, Semantic Error didn’t really offer something new. It’s all been done before. However, it’s still an appealing treat, thanks to the low-key, less cringy, and more grounded approach to its narrative. Nothing was too grand or overly sensational, but still charming nonetheless.

They «got me stuck»

Finally I had the time to watch this masterpiece. And in one week I watched it three times…can I be honest here? Just because I need to share this somewhere…this series really affected me like no other before, never have I ever rewatched a series in a such a short period of time. And the thing is I can’t explain what I feel whenever I watch it, it’s this feeling of comfort and then at the same time everytime I finish watching it I feel this void in my chest, because I need more of them.
Emotions aside. I’ve watched so many BL dramas before, movies, series, of all nationalities, and I never experienced what I experienced with these characters. Their chemistry is unparalleled and I trully believe they’ve set a new level of ambience, dialogue, acting, commitment and chemistry to all BL dramas that are to come. Because this one is not easy to match.
The restaurant scene on episode 7, from the very beginning until Sangwoo leaves running is absolute perfection. The acting is…I don’t have words for it really, I want to be technical but I just can’t when it comes to them. The whole mood that was set on that scene and then culminating in the most perfect kiss I remember seeing on a BL drama. The kiss scene is the most beautiful I have ever seen, really, I was surprised for being so deep and bold when compared to what we’re used to watch in BL kdrama, the little detail of kissing sound made the scene so sensual. I rewatched that scene so many times, and it still affects me just thinking about it.
Park Seoham is an amazing actor, I’m so glad he was casted for the role. He really made the evolution of Jaeyoung in such a short period of time so believable, every nouance was credible, and although the series was only eight episodes it didn’t feel rushed at all.
Park Jaechan is incredible, also the way he managed the fact that Sangwoo was having deeper feelings for Jaeyoung is endearing, he managed the conflict of feeling something totally new to him so well, the rage mixed with the impossible fight against it, and finally giving in. The scene in the park where he says three times «I really like you», like he can’t fight it anymore is heart breaking, his teary eyes, his whole facial expression is spot on.
Both actors were truly commited to their characters feelings and it was beautiful, they made it seem so real, hence the success of this show.
Also the very end with that beautiful kiss that wasn’s scripted is really the perfect finale, the way Jaeyoung caresses Sangwoo’s neck and the way Sangwoo closes his eyes way before being kissed…perfect…so many feelings.
I also have to mention the perfect soundtrack and the way it was used, enhancing every scene. I’m totally addicted to «Melancholy», every time I listen to it I relive all the emotions I feel whenever I watch them. That’s how good the soundtrack is.
There’s so much more I want to say about this series honestly but I feel like I’m writing a love letter instead of a review, so I’m about to finish.
I’m always satisfied when I finish a 1 season BL drama, but this time I really need more of them. I know there is a will to do it, but Seoham leaving for service for two years makes it impossible to guess whether it will happen or not, a lot happens in two years. And him saying in an interview that «Semantic Error» was his 20’s made me melancholic, so I hope he can start his 30’s with a new era of Jaeyoung’s and Sangwoo’s beautiful romance. We’re waiting for you Seoham 
In the meantime, «Semantic Error» the movie with deleted scenes will be released in Korea on August 31st and also in Taywan and Vietnam. I hope the international fans can also watch it, I’m looking forward to it.
Oh I forgot to mention, I’m not much of a manhwa reader, and never read this one, but I’m about to give it a try.

This kdrama has it all!! The chemistry and all.. Especially the butterflies… Ya’ll never regret watching this.. And please support the actors! It would mean a lot… And the fact that it is the highest rating kdrama in spite being not televised just shows how good this BL kdrama is..

#Fluffy cloud
I love this drama so much together with the actors who took part in it. Everything was beautifully done for me its a 10+ The emotions were portrayed so well I could actually feel it the chemistry was also on point. The details were so well done also like the purple light. Overall it felt like a fluffy cloud while I was watching it. It exceeded all my expectations.
I honestly watched it four times its original timeline like I watched an episode for 2 hours because I was so focused on getting everything.
Anyway it’s a good watch for those who are being introduced into this genre and isn’t overwhelming while at the same time for those who have watched the genre longer it felt like a safety cushion.
I can’t express all the praise I have for this drama. It’s amazing.
Do watch it I am sure it’s worth your time and show some love.

Was Semantic error that much good??????/
Yes man it was……. Usually in BL dramas ( at least in the ones which I have watched) they mainly focus on just touchy scenes and that’s all… but this was an exception. I mean this drama had super romantic scenes ( specially episode 7) but at the same time quality of the drama, plot ( credits to original webtoon), acting everything was just perfect. The production crew as well as the whole cast have put a lot of effort in this. Two main leads Park Seoham ( former KNK member) and Park Jae Chan ( Dongkiz member) just brought the two characters in to life. We can’t forget the supporting cast too. They all did well. Two main leads had an amazing chemistry( with that amazing height difference of course). If anyone is thinking of watching Semantic error but still not sure I’m assuring too it’s worthy and it’s not rated as 18+. So you can enjoy it as any other K drama. Finally show your support to Jae Chan and his group DKZ who recently had a comeback and Seo Ham ( who is currently in millitary service). Waiting for a second season.

Good Enough
Korean Drama «Semantic Error» is a BL college drama.
The drama, being a light web series, has few episodes and thus, it doesn’t have a lot of time to have a proper development. And yet, the first part of the story is pretty neat and enjoyable, with the dynamics of the main couple being on point and enjoyable. The rest of the characters were interesting as well, apart from that girl friend of the male lead’s who was annoying and insufferable, and the definition of a bad friend. The other female lead, on the other hand, was adorable.
Again, the relationship and the chemistry between the main leads is the main entertainment factor, as well as the reason of this dramas success. Other than that, the story is pretty basic and rushed.
The performances, finally, were nice by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, three and a half out of ten.

Не могу сказать, что мне как-то сильно понравилось. Среди дорам жанра БЛ эта — неплохая, она достаточно милая и, по сравнению со своими собратьями того же жанра, она не выглядит такой же вымученной и искусственной. Тут даже есть нормально играющий актер! Но в целом она все еще не выглядит как полноценный сериал, больше как зарисовочка, набросок. |

Очень стоящая вещь! Сначала не хотела смотреть, так как обычно корейские сериалы довольно консервативны, но привлек высокий рейтинг и положительные отзывы. Эта история сделала мой день, в список любимых однозначно! Рекомендую, даже настаиваю к просмотрю. Рейтинг не подвел. |

Так как я уже ранее удачно окунулась в голубое море, решила и сейчас ножки намочить. От многих узнала, что сие дорама просто чудо пречудесное и серии немного = однозначно смотреть! И знаете что? Меня не обманули. Дорама и вправду отличная! (≧▽≦) У меня даже скулы заболели — столько сидела с натянутой лыбой. В общем: прелесть! Всем советую |

Эта та корейская дорама гей тематики, которую я так ждала.. Не в плане выхода итд, а реализации. Далее конкретнее. Если в других просмотренных мною дорам гей-темы сюжет слишком быстро набирает оборот, то тут не так.. Может дело в длительности, а может в идеальном сценарии) История медленно сводила героев, я это просто обожаю, божечки. Надеюсь дальше подобное от Кореи будет больше, а не «любовь с первой же серии» .. |

Вот, честно, кладя руку на сердце, это творение так себе, но последние две серии изменили мое мнение в лучшую сторону. Разделю дорамку так же на 2 части. В первой, актерам было явно неловко играть свои роли. Парень в кепке играл плохо от слова совсем, красавчек еще более менее, но с мейком перестарались, так и хотелось умыть его мицеляркой. В общем красило взор только симпатичные просторы Ю. Кореи. А вот, во второй половине, точней ближе к концу, явно парни притерлись и привыкли друг к другу, и начался проблеск зарождения чувств. Сердечко екнулое пару раз, правда. Поцелуи добротные, но некоторые моменты были сдержанные и неловкие. Ближе к концу, уже расстаял айсберг и стало смотреть намного легче, интереснее и романтичнее. Концовка хорошая. Плюсом считаю адекватное окружение персонажей. Девчонки классные. И так, давно не смотрела подобный жанр, года 3 точно, но интернет так сейчас пестрит обилием сей любви, что руки зачесались посмотреть что-то эдакое, еще и от корейцев. Честно, зашло, но не сразу. Какие же красивые актёры! Потрясающая игра, которая запомнится надолго. Так атмосферно, красочно и очень по-доброму. С самых первых серий знала, что дорама встанет в ряды любимых после того, как увидела компанию главного героя. Во-первых я влюбилась в Сон Джио, вы только посмотрите на неё! Самоуверенная, говорит все, что думает, живой пример для подражания. Правда немного осталось непонятным то, как быстро переросли чувства, ведь в жизни можно было бы так до конца жизни ходить и ненавидеть друг друга, а тут *бах* и любовь. Но мне правда понравилось, я рада, что выделила на это время. Всем советую! |

Не знала про что именно будет фильм, думала увижу что -то типа броманса, если бы знала, что про геев, то не стала бы смотреть. (на другом портале гей-тематика не была указана в тегах). Еще одна дорамка в копилку Любимое..Симпатичные герои .Интересный сюжет. Очень нравится когда герои с разными характерами начинают сближатся и влюблятся. Один завоевывает а другой хочет быть завоеванным. Все эти сомнения- метания-обожаю. |

Забавный, вызывающий эмоции, хорошая игра актеров. Немного странно трагедию разыгрывать, если можно сейчас общаться и на расстоянии, но душевная дорамка. Яой моменты неплохие. В общем то что точно можно посмотреть!))) |

Романтическая история в жанре BL, действие которой разворачивается в стенах университета.
Чу Сан Ву — студент младших курсов факультета информационных технологий. Молодой человек, обладающий исключительным техническим мышлением, превыше всего ценит в людях высокий интеллект, дисциплинированность и умение различать, что такое «хорошо» и «плохо». Однако однажды, к ужасу героя, преподавательский состав решает провести педагогическую работу по тимбилдингу. Так студенты технических факультетов, включая Сан Ву, получают задание для командной работы со студентами, обучающимися на гуманитарном факультете. И, что больше всего пугает Сан Ву, успешная сдача совместной презентации является обязательным условием для закрытия сессии. Но какие можно иметь дела с безответственными гуманитариями?!
Герой придерживается именно такого мнения. Поэтому решает выполнить всю работу самостоятельно и представить презентацию от своего имени. Именно так он и поступает, не задумываясь о том, что его единоличное поведение нанесёт тяжёлый удар по академическим успехам другого студента из его команды — Чан Чжэ Ëн Последний учится в том же университете на гуманитарном факультете. Чжэ Ëн — популярный, стильный и харизматичный молодой человек с большим амбициями. Благодаря отличной успеваемости он надеется получить грант на обучение заграницей. Но внезапно его великие планы на жизнь рушит одним поступком некий Чу Сан Ву!
Тогда молодой человек решает найти своего недоброжелателя и отомстить ему за то зло, которое он причинил. Он планирует мучить Сан Ву и издеваться над ним всеми возможными способами. Однако вскоре после личного знакомства между героями возникает не противостояние, а совсем другого рода чувства…

Чу Сан Ву – талантливый студен младшего курса факультета информационных технологий. Он непримиримый технарь, принципиальный, дисциплинированный и довольно замкнутый. Сан Ву привык работать в одиночку, и когда администрация университета включает его в групповой проект, парень приходит в ужас. Результат проекта повлияет на дальнейшую успеваемость всей команды, каждый должен внести свою лепту. Группа досталась Сан Ву не самая удачная, да и сам он не умеет работать в команде.
По итогу студент решает весь проект создать самостоятельно исключительно под своим именем, не думая о том, как это отразиться на товарищах. Участник проекта, харизматичный красавец Чан Чжэ Ён, всегда отличался хорошей успеваемостью и намерен получить грант на обучение за рубежом. Он пытается договориться с Сан Ву, но тот не желает идти на уступки. В конечном итоге поступок Сан Ву рушит планы успешного и популярного Чжэ Ёна.
Теперь разъярённый студент намерен отомстить и разрушить жизнь Сан Ву. Чжэ Ён преследует его, всячески издевается и буквально не даёт прохода. Со временем студенты знакомятся поближе, и жестокое противостояние постепенно переходит в совсем другое чувство.
