Job. Setting error. An invalid or improper network setting has prevented the machine from com-
municating.
[Procedure
Check the following:
–
the IP Address setting
–
the default Gateway setting
–
the subnet mask setting
–
the DNS Server address setting
–
the proxy server address setting
–
the Xerox Communication Server URL setting
–
Set «Verify the remote server certificate» to «OFF».
If despite the confirmation of the above settings, the situation has not improved, contact
the customer network administrator because there is a possibility of a network failure.
When after the implementation of the corrective actions, the machine has established nor-
mal communication with the Xerox Communication Server, the fault will be cleared.
If the network is normal but the situation has not improved, collect the pfshowinfo9 log
and network log immediately after the occurrence of the problem and contact the support
division for directions.

026-717, 026-718
026-718 PS Print Instruction Fail RAP
Error caused because PostScript job was requested in combination with a feature which is not
available for PS.
Job cannot be executed because of invalid combination of print parameters (finishing job,
paper size, paper tray, duplex/simplex, output destination).
Procedure
•
Set parameters (finishing job, paper size, paper tray, duplex/simplex, output destination,
etc.) correctly and print the job again.
•
Disconnect then reconnect the ESS, MCU all PWBs connected to them (RAM, Firmware
module, EEPROM)
•
Check the sw version of the controller sw — update if required

WC7328 with error 010-110 and 026-717
Customer has jamming problem. Paper enters fuser and exits about an inch and stops. Swapped with
new fuser and no change. Please advise. I do not see 026-717 error listed in manual. Your help is appreciated. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

That would be your exit transport assembly on the machine. Part number is 059K27187 or can be the fuser drive assembly but most likely the Exit Assembly has gone to pasture. The ends of the exit roller are very weak and tend to strip off the shaft. If you cannot order from Xerox call around. Machines that use the same Exit Assembly are Xerox WorkCentre 2128, 2636, 3545, 7328, 7335, 7345, 7346. Xerox Phaser 7750, 7760. Oh the 026 error is a settings error in your Scan to Email.

I replaced the exit assembly but still have same issue with paper stopping as it comes out of fuser and is just entering exit assembly.
Not sure where to go from here.

The problem lies with shaft attached to the registration clutch.
It gets dirty, so the registration clutch does not turned.
Maybe toner or developer got into it.Solution:
I opened the registration clutch, then sprayed the shaft and the clutch with contact cleaner.I hope this diagram helps you.

Причины появления ошибки 029 717 в Ксерокс и пути их устранения
- Часто при наличии нестабильного напряжения в электросети, приборы начинают работать некорректно, происходит разовый сбой программного характера. Чтобы исключить его, потребуется выполнить перезагрузку оргтехники. Для этого нужно достать питающий кабель из розетки, отключить устройство от всех проводов, подождать несколько минут и подключить все заново. Если перезапуск не дал результата, можно приступать ко второму пункту.
- Настройка ip-адреса порта. Порядок действий такой: зайти в «Свойства принтера» — «Порты» — «Добавить порт». В строке TCP/IP указать нужный адрес, после чего применить настройки и запустить пробную печать.
- Запретить устройству автоматически определять настройки прокси-сервера. Для отключения WPAD потребуется выполнить следующие действия:
- загрузить систему от имени администратора;
- в меню выбрать пункт «Инструменты», далее перейти в системные настройки;
- открыть «Подключение и настройка сети» и в списке прокси-серверов выбрать пункт с изменением параметров и запретить использование прокси-сервера.
После этого программное обеспечение аппарата Xerox обновится, и ошибка перестанет выводиться на экран. Если указанные действия не помогли решить проблему, обратитесь за помощью в сервисный центр.

Подскажите, пожалуйста, где можно увидеть полный перечень ошибок Xerox WorkCentre 5222? Постоянно появляется ошибка 026-717 и 026-714, в общем перечне ошибок таких не нашел.
Ответ:
026-714 — аппарат не может получить доступ к прокси-серверу. Ошибка 026-717 также связана с проблемами в сети или неправильными сетевыми настройками.
